Dear helper,
I need some legal consultation regarding immigration services. I am currently on L1A work visa obtained on a blanket petition in April 2019 and now I'm due for an extension on the same this January. I joined this company in their office in India as an engineer in 2016. In 2017 they applied for an L1A petition but after an RFE they withdraw the application. This RFE was regarding the role and my position in the company at that time. Then I was promoted to Engineering Manager the next year and then again my company applied for L1A which was granted after an RFE in August 2018. But finally, when I applied for the visa I used a blanket petition in 2019.
So my question is will there be any problem in applying for the extension due to the previous I-797 petition applications. But let me tell you that I have never applied for a visa on either of them. It was my company applying only for a petition before I can apply for the visa.
Could you kindly provide a piece of advice to me on the same at your earliest convenience?
Best regards,
Rajesh.
