Query about DS-160 for L2 (dependents)

Hi Again,

Been in the US for few months now. My whole saga is here and my interview experience is here. I travelled to the US on a L1-A Individual, all by myself (Solo) and planning to take the family early in 2022.

I was filling out the DS-160 and there was a section (Travel Information) which was asking "Principal Applicant Information". This is being filled for my spouse and child who are currently in India:



1. Should it be their details instead of mine except the petition number which should be the one which i have received? I am not able to see any other section which can take my child's details like name except in "Travel Companions Information". I was not able to enter my child's passport details in the DS-160.


2. I am confused on where would they ask for my child's passport information? Should I fill in another DS-160 for my child separately?

1. Should it be their details instead of mine except the petition number which should be the one which i have received?
Answer: You will need to provide L1 holder details here. L1 holder Surname, given name and Application receipt/ petition receipt details.

I am not able to see any other section which can take my child's details like name except in "Travel Companions Information". I was not able to enter my child's passport details in the DS-160.
Answer: You will need to fill separate DS 160 for each dependents. With that, you will be providing your child details there.

Answer: Of course Yes. Only interview, you can club one or two persons. When coming to the DS 160, each applicant needs to fill separate DS 160 form.
