Do we need valid visa to work or is EAD enough?

My L2 visa is expiring 15 Jan 2022 but my EAD and I94 is valid until 15 Dec 2022. Can I continue to work uninterrupted beyond 15 Jan 2022? Is it enough to have EAD to continue to work even though my visa is expired?

Yes. Visas are just for entry.

Have you applied L2 status extension? You will need to file L2 ext petition in order to move forward.

Thanks for the reply. Now, I know that I need to file L2 ext petition in order to move forward. I will surely gonna it but not right now little later. Because recently, I want to check a website in which I can find information related to term papers. After that I am gonna do file L2 ext petition in order to move forward.

If you have valid EAD & AP card, you can continue working & do not need a new visa or L2 extension.
