In-person interview waiver for all work visas- current news. Is it applicable for all visa extension individuals? If someone has gone through admin processing through 221g visa refusal and got visa afterwards once admin processing completed, are those individuals also eligible for interview waiver in this new announcement once they apply for visa extension in same category? Kindly clarify.

Any clarifications ? Is interview waiver applicable for blanket petition or only for individual petition cases of L1 visa?

Hi Member,
As per my knowledge, we will need to wait for some more time to get more update on this announcement.. What my concern is, In the Department of state website, there is no specific countries they have mentioned apart from VWP participating countries and ESTA.
We dont know, whether Indian nationals will be benefited for the same. We will need to keep monitoring US Embassy India website for more update on this.
