My query on tax is:
I first came to USA on 16 sep 2009 from India on B1 Visa & left on 8th Nov 2009. As I was on B1 visa I was not paid salary in the US.The on Dec 16th 2009 I have come back on L1A visa. I did not get paid in December 2009 as I did not have any bank account instead all the money got credited in January of 2010. Should I have filled for tax for the year 2009? If yes what should I do now? My mothers interview date is scheduled on the 17th of Sep2010 & would appreciate a quick response.
