  • L1A to GC

    HI ,

I'm on L1A and working in US since 2006. My company has agreed to do my GC in Feb 2010. but i was asked by my client to go to India for 3 months around the same time frame to do some trainings. These are my concerns.

    1. Can my company file for the GC when i'm in India?
    2. Can the GC be filed as soon as i come back from India?
3.Can I go to India after my GC is filed?

or else what are the options i have?

Note ; When i'm in India i'll be on Indian payroll.

    Thanks in advance,
    Meera

Remember that GC is for future employment. So whether you are in U.S now or in India doesn't matter.
