Leaving USA after L1A RFE is filed

Hello All,

I need immediate advice. Can I leave US after my L1A RFE is filed? Will my process be abandoned if that happens or it will still continue and I will get a decision? I'm not worried about coming back but want to make sure that the officer doesn't abandon the process.

All help in this matter will be appreciated.

If you have valid visa there is no concern.

Would you mind sharing what was this RFE for ? My L1A extension says RFE requested but i have not received any further notice in letter.Recently filed premium service and got RFE in 3 days of filing RFE

Leaving USA while pending L1 extension doesn't abandon your application.

But note that you need to have a valid visa & valid petition at the time of re-entry into USA.
