L1 Blanket Visa status change and travel restrictions.

Dear Community,

I am looking for some information on L1 Blanket Visa status change, below are my queries

1. if I file change of status from L1 to H1, is it ok to travel outside of US after application filed, travel would be for couple of weeks outside US?
2. if I go for premium processing and get my application approved, post that can I travel outside US and come back with my old visa since activation date would be Oct 1st.

Any in-sights will be highly appreciated, I have personally stuff to deal with because of which I got to travel outside US.

Yes, you can travel outside USA at any time. Travel duration also doesn't matter.
But, you'll need a valid visa & valid petition at the time of entry, to be able to admitted back into USA.

If your L1A visa & petition still stays valid, yes, you can return with to your L1 status. One person can hold multiple non-immigrant visas at any point of time.
