L2 Dropbox , now administrative processing

Hello,
I applied for L2 visa extension on October 1st 2020 via Dropbox , submitted all the docs, my spouse's I 797, new n old n my passport for stamping. It reached consulate on 5th October, n the status is updated as "Administrative Processing" on 7th October, what does it mean? Looking for responses,if anyone has faced this situation.

Is it still pending? "Administrative processing" is like blackhole. They must be doing some background investigation about your profile (no one knows for sure what & how do they do it). You have no other option, but to wait or withdraw your application.
