L2 dependant visa application

Hello All,

My spouse is in US and his L1 visa is expiring in a month however has applied for extension. Myself and kid are in India and would want to apply for L2 Visa, can we go-ahead try schedule the interview now? Any chances of rejection? If it gets approved will their be any issue at the POE?

No problem, But if you apply now (before approval of L1 extension) you'll get L2 visa till L1 current expiry date only.

Better you schedule interview now for a later date, convert L1 extension into premium to get quick approval. Then appear for L2 interview, get new visa will expiry date as per extended L1 approval.
