L1A to H1b again to L1A

Can anybody answer? I came to US in L1A and then changed status to H1b (got stamping in India), now I got laid off can I again work for my former employer on L1A that is valid till Dec'10?

Yes. You need to do CoS from H1 to L1, and after approval you can start working.

But if you got laid off from h1 employer, you might need to go to home country for stamping to enter on L1.
