  • On L1 Visa/Sponsoring Parents Visitor's Visa

    Hello,

I am working in USA since May 2008 on L1 B visa and now planning to sponsor visitor's visa for may parents/sibling. Will you please look into the below queries I have on the same?

I am on L1-B visa which will expire in April 2011. Is it okay that I sponsor visitor's visas for my parents and brother in Nov 2010? Does my visa expiry date have any effect on the term for which my parents will get the visa? How important it is to provide my birth certificate as a supporting document? In case I don't have it, what are the alternatives to that?
