L2 VISA - Error in Father's Name in Marriage Certificate
Hi,
I am applying for L1B VISA, along with my wife. She will be getting an L2 Visa. There is one issue though. In our marriage certificate, my Wife's Father's name has a missing middle name which is present in all other documents like Passport. Her father's name is "UJJAL KUMAR SAMADDAR" on the passport but it is recorded as "UJJAL SAMADDAR" on the Marriage certificate. "KUMAR" is missing on the marriage certificate. My Wife's name and my name are correct though. Can this become an issue with the consulate? Getting it corrected is a bit painful and time-consuming process. ???? I am assuming the consulate uses the Marriage certificate as proof of relationship between me and my wife and hence processes her L2 Visa.
