Hi All,
My L1B visa interview was on the 19th of October 2010. Everything went fine, as in , I responded to all the questions to the best of my knowledge. At the end of the interview the officer handed me a 221g Yellow handout and said that there needs to be some administrative processing in my case.
The yellow slip is as below;
Dear Visa Applicant:
Your application for nonimmigrant visa has been placed in a pending status. Per Section 221g of US INA, further documentation or processing is needed before we can make a final determination in your case. Only the items checked below apply to your case.
"When administrative processing is completed on your case, you will be contacted and requested to submit your passport, this letter and the accompanying envelop to the nearest visa office"
I received an email from the US Consulate on the 27th of Oct 2010:

Dear Sir/ Madam
Greetings from the Nonimmigrant Visa Section of U.S. Consulate General Mumbai.
Please follow the instructions below in order to continue processing your pending visa application further.
You DO NOT require scheduling another appointment. If you were issued a white/ blue pending letter at the interview, please visit the Consulate General any business day at 9.30 am with your pending letter, passport, courier envelope and other documents pertaining to your visa application. However, if you were issued a yellow / green pending letter at the interview, you will need to submit your passport, pending letter and the courier envelope to the Consulate General via any of the VFS offices. Please carry a copy of this email for ready reference.
Please note that this email communication does not confirm that your visa is issued at this time.

My question is, does it mean that My visa status is not yet confirmed, whether it is approved or denied?
Experts Please advise.
