EAD Renewal with L2 Extension

Hi,

I am on L2 and I have EAD. My EAD and I 94 is going to expire on Jan 2011.
My Husband's company is applying for L1 Visa Extension. So they will process my L2 Extension as well. So can anyone tell me whether I can apply for EAD renewal along with my L2 Visa Extension?

In that case what are the supporting documents do I need to provide?

---- Yes you can extend/renew your EAD along with L2 extension/renewal. The documents to provide are the same that you you provided during your initial EAD approval. May be this time you can add the pay slips you got while on EAD to ensure that you were paid regularly

It is not required that you work while having an EAD. It only authorizes one to work.
For EAD filed along with extension of status, no separate supporting documents will be required. Those with the I-539 are sufficient.

No. Once your EAD expires, you need to stop working immediately. You can join back when the renewal get approved. You have 6 months time prior to EAD expiration to apply for the extension to avoid such situation.
