Hi,
I applied today at the consulate to extend my current L1A for two more years (to a total of 3+2). When I got home and looked at the I-129, I see the consulate worker marked "Specialized knowledge professional" instead of "Manager/Executive". Does this mean that I will get an L1B instead of the extension of my current L1A? It would be crazy to me since the person asked me "same role?" -"yes, same role", I answered. I wouldn't see why this would happen... and she said "you're all set". Never mentioned giving me an L1B instead of my current L1A. DS-160 is showing as approved now. The question is:
Will I get the L1A extension I applied for? or will I get a new L1B? Also, did the assistant make a mistake?
