L1A Individual - doc require - do we need original i797 & i129

Hi mates - help needed - My L1A Individual petition approved and my attorney had mailed (courier) the original docs with Fedex - but Fedex looks like they lost the package(still working with them, its been more than 15 days)
I have an upcoming visa appointment - question is
is it mandatory to carry i797 and i129 original docs? I have both scanned copies which my attorney had mailed me.

any help greatly appreciated.

Fedex finally confirmed they lost the package - luckily I had applied for COB correction which came in between from USCIS to attorney so they couriered this time fine with Fedex. shy of relief as attorney said, this amendment will replace the original notice and can continue with this rest of the process.

However, I still do not have original petition, I have copy though and original I797, now looking for earlier dates at consular which is nightmare - somehow got the date in April next year - looking for rescheduling with madness.
