Where does one go for VISA stamping for L1 extension (while in USA). Do we have to travel back to India ?

US visas are solely for entry to the US. There is no need for a visa when you are inside the US, because if you are already inside the US, you do not need to "enter". Only if you leave the US and need to re-enter would you get a new visa if your previous visa is expired.
