Lost Job on L1A and need to travel back and forth to Canada/USA

I'm a Canadian Citizen on an L1A and recently lost my job. I am aware that I have 60 days to wrap up my stay. However, I lost my job and need to travel back to Canada this week for family, and then come back to wrap things up. Will this cause me any problems with CBP? As a Canadian, I don't need a visa to enter the USA, but, if I leave immediately after being terminated, and come back to wrap up my affairs in the USA, will CBP stop me from coming back for any reason?

You will be re-entering as a B2 visitor. There is no fundamental reason why you can't enter, but entry is never guaranteed. It is up to the officer's subjective determination, and it is impossible to predict.
