  • Rejoining company on L1B

    Hi,

I worked for a US company in a Managerial role in the UK for over 4 years - leaving in August 2021.

I’m now speaking to them about an IC role (strategic) and would be based in the US. As I left within the last 3 years - am I right in thinking I would still be eligible to join on an L-visa? Not sure if this is harder for an IC role instead of a manager?

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

You are eligible for L1 visa from that US company, as the rule is you were associated with that company outside USA for 1 year in last 3 calendar year.

In my opinion L1B is comparatively harder than L1A, but with your IC role, L1B is most suitable.
