Can I travel on H4 during the 1 year visa cool off period?

I was on L1A that maxed out in Sep 2022 and currently in Canada. My spouse is on H1, currently in USA. My company may process my next L1A after a year.
Q1. Will there be any impact if I travel in H4 during the cool off period for couple of weeks?
Q2. If I stay in US on H4 status for 15 days during the one year cool off period, will the duration get extended by 15 days ie. 365**5?

You can travel on H4, but cannot live/work from USA. You need to be employed outside USA for 1 year to be eligible for L1A again.

Not really, if you able to prove that even though you traveled, you were still employed by foreign company & were get paid for the whole 365 calendar days.
