Wondering on if there is any compensation requirement for L1A, as L1a are mean to for international executives / Managers, do the VO look into our comp numbers? does the comp number has any impact on VO decision?

Is there any compensation requirement for L1A ? what number would be an ideal?

As far as I know, there is no set rules for this. But everything depends on how the VO looks at things. If you claim to be an executive with $40K salary that can raise some eyebrows. It also depends on how your case is presented. I remember my attorney mentioning they are more focused on pay for executives than managers. When it comes to managers, the main focus is proving that you’ll have legitimate managerial duties. There are certain ways of proving that depending on what type of manager you are (people vs function).

Also, the compensation benchmark will change based on your work location, an 100K may be good for some remote place in Texas, but not good for Bay area, CA.- I am not an Attorney, hence not giving any legal advice. Just sharing MY opinion with an intent to help others.
