  • Stamped I-129S at the port of entry

    Hello,

I have a quick and urgent question here. I am on L1-B Blanket Visa.

Initially, I carried three copies of the I-129S form for visa stamping. The consular office in Chennai stamped one of the copies during my visa interview (the other two copies were unstamped). At the port of entry, the (only) stamped copy I had was taken by the CBP officer. So now I don't have any copies of the stamped I-129S form.

I am currently traveling to India and I was wondering:
    1) if I need a stamped copy of I-129S form for re-entry.
    2) If so, is there a way to get a stamped copy of the I-129S form?

Any quick response in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks a lot,
    Somil

You need to have a copy of I129S (stamp on that is not required).

Did you have any old soft copy of your I129S, get a printout of it.

      Hi smlbansal /Somil,

I am in the same situation that I do not have any copy of my stamped I129S. Did you have to produce a stamped I129S in the port of entry?
Looking forward to hearing how it went

      Thanks
