  • Traveling with Blanket L1A visa with a I797 approved individual petition extension

I have Blanket L1A visa with below dates. Visa Type: L1
    Issue date: 3-Mar-2020
    Expiration date: 1-Feb-2023
    PED date: 4-Jan-2023

Annotation: Blanket L-1 : Must Present I-129S AT POE

    Current I-94 Expiration Date 4-Jan-2023

My L1A individual extension already filed and approved. I have got L1A individual petition approved from 5-Jan-2023 to 3-Jan-2025 with I94 ( exp date 12-Jan-2025) attached at the bottom of I-797A.

Questions: I have personal travel plan to Mexico on 31st Dec 2022 and traveling back to USA on 3rd Jan 2023.
Can I travel with the existing blanket L1 visa (as my visa expiration date is 1-Feb-2023) with the current approved individual I-797A and return back to USA.?
Will I get new i-94 with date based on my approved individual PED 3-Jan-2025 or it will be current Visa end date 1-Feb-2023?

Yes, you are fine traveling with your existing valid visa & extended individual petition.
Yes, you'll get a new I94 with expiry date matching your recently extended individual petition.
