  • Regarding Fraud Detection fees and documents required at interview

    Happy New Year to all.

Guys our interview is scheduled on 19th January 2023. I need help regarding, how we can submit fraud detection fees (DD/Cheque/Credit or Debit card). How to organize documents at the time of interview. What are the documents required for L2 applicants( spouse and 11 year old).

    Thanks

    Hi,

The preferable payment method for the Fraud Prevention and Detection fees is by DD. You might pay in cash too, but you might have to wait longer in that case. Credit cards are acceptable, but do check if you need to authorize payment with OTP as in that case you will have a problem since you can't carry mobile phones inside the consulate.

Don't worry about organizing the documents, as they will guide you there. A printed list is provided with the sequence and you can follow that. They give people time to organize so don't worry.

For L2 spouse, you should carry your original (and a copy) marriage certificate. Any other employment/education docs are optional. We had carried them, but they are not really required.

For the child, please carry original (and a copy) birth certificate.

Do any fees L2 applicants need to pay at consular office?

No, L2 applicants do not have to pay anything at the consular office.

Hi! How was your interview? I want to thank everyone for sharing useful information. Speaking about submitting fraud detection fees, I read that a lot of organizations have already implemented fraud detection machine learning tools that allow blocking or allowing certain user actions, such as suspicious logins, identity theft, or fraudulent transactions. I hope this technology will help people avoid worrying about such things.
