L2s and Adjustment of status

Good day all. I am an L1a and my wife is L2s. If we apply for i140 and adjustment of status, would she not be able to work? I believe there is premium processing of i140.

She can work as long as she is in L2 status.

I140 & L1/L2 are 2 totally separate & independent processes.
