L1 Visa Query

Hi Guys,

I have applied for the L1 Visa to US. My concern is i have travelled to Suadi Arabia in 2006 and then returned to india after 6 months, but unfortunately i have lost the passport there and came here on EC. And then submitted the EC in Passport office in india and got the Fresh PAssport with the lost status stating that pervious pasport lost in Saudi and fresh has been issues.

My concern is whether US consulate will ask why i has gone Saudi etccc and whats the reason of Lost etc.. The thing here is i do not have any proof except the passport office has written on my pasport that we have issued new taking the EC will it be fine?

Guys please help me on this as i am very tensed.Apart from that all my docs are fine.

If they ask you about the Saudhi trip, then given them the actual reason for the trip. It is not a crime to travel to Saudhi. Also, loosing the passport isn't new to the Consulate. At the worst case, there might be additional adminsitrative processing on your case. Once they verify all the records and if it is clear, then they will issue you the visa.
