Hello folks, my company is looking to get me to the US on an L1 visa. I was looking on the visa appointment time slots and it looks like some of the consulates in India have a waiting time exceeding 300 days https://mobdro.bio/. I read about the waiver for certain category of visas and (blanket) L was one of them.
- Has anyone recently applied for and received their L visas (blanket/non-blanket)?
- Does anyone know if the process for L1 is different if you previously held a US visa?
- I've read posts about Indians going to other nearby countries to attend visa interviews. Is this common? Are there any risks in doing this?
