What happens to L1A status if you change citizenship?

Hi

I am currently working in USA on L1A visa. The visa was done and the stamping is on my Indian passport. I might get my Canadian citizenship in the upcoming months. Will this affect my Visa status? Can I transfer the L1A visa to Canadian passport? What is the process to be on L1A? I am also thinking to apply for green card. can i go ahead and apply? Or I should wait for my Canadian citizenship.
