  • Hello everyone...

    Dear all,

I have been looking fwd to this cite since many days as i had my visa interview today i.e. on 9th Dec, 2010 and i was granted visa .

I had a query and thought to ask you all as i found you all very helpful in this cite..

My query was i am on L2 visa and when the VO said that your visa is approved, she did not give me any kind of documents back...

So I request those who went alone for L2 visa kindly help me regarding this matter as m lil worried.
Do they give any of the documents back as in case of my Husband (L1),She stamped the Petition and gave it back to my hubby.
Is there any document that they have to give back to me if L2 visa is accepted?

    Kindly help me please.......

For L2, you don't get anything back since all that you would have submitted would be the photo copies. I hope you did not hand over the original L1 approval notice to the consulate. If so, you should have got it back. If the original petition was retained, then they would most probably sent it back with the stamped passport. If you gave them any of your originbal documents then you should make sure that you get it back. Otherwise, you are all good.
