Rules for working on L2 visa

Hi,

My husband has L1B visa for usa and i have L2 visa. Can i come to usa,
apply my SSN and immediately start working and get paid later whenever i get my SSN ??

Or i need to sit at home and cannot work until i get my EAD as well as
SSN ??

You need EAD to work. You cannot work until EAD gets approved. You need SSN so that the employer can deduct taxes. You can start working immediatly after getting the EAD and the employer can generate the pay slips and pay you later after you get the SSN.
