Just filed I-765 Can visit to India

Hi,
I just have filed I-765 for EAD. I even not received acknowledgement (Notice of Action). Can I go to India for a month?
Will it work if I plan to visit after 1 month?

If you leave the country before the approval, the EAD could get denied. You need to be in valid L2 status to get the EAD approved. If you leave the country, you will no longer be in L2 status.
