  • L1A Visa Extension

    Hi All,
My L1A ext petition was filed on 14th Sep and it is now close to 4 months but I have still not received any response. My PED is 14th Jan' 2024. One of my office colleague filed in Oct this year and he has received L1A ext approval one month back.
Petition filed in Texas service center for both of us.
Just wanted to know if anyone can share experience/ info regarding the same and why it is taking so long. Processing time for Texas service center shows 1.5 months.
    Thanks.

Your L1A extension filed in September is delayed beyond the Texas Service Center's typical processing time, while a colleague's filed later was approved faster. This could be due to case-specific CA DMV login scrutiny, backlogs, a potential unannounced RFE, or individual officer discretion. With your PED passed, it's crucial to check your case status online, consider contacting USCIS, and consult an immigration attorney immediately to understand your options and risks.
