Hi, I’m AJ and I’ve a couple of questions on L1 visa.
1. My wife is not a manager but deals with managers only at her firm. She is in HR and her main responsibility is working with senior managers and help them with hiring other managers. Her firm agreed to transfer her to US on L1A visa. Curious to know if she would be eligible for EB1C visa while applying for Green Card? She doesn’t have anyone reporting to her, hence the question if she is eligible for EB1C.
2. I’ve been offered a senior manager role in the US but I’ve to go on TN visa, as I'm an Indian born Canadian citizen. They agreed for 6 months work from Canada office but need me on site after that. Is the requirement for L1A - 1 year straight employment outside US in the past 3 yrs or can I do 6 months now and 6 months later in an year or so and claim 1year experience outside US for L1A visa.
Any help would be really appreciated. We are just stuck with the above 2 scenarios.
