Hello,
Can EAD (based on L2) be extended just by I-94 extension? I am on L1 Blanket visa which is valid till July 2011 but I have an I-94 till Aug 2012. My wife traveled at a different time on L2 and got I-94 till July 2011 (same as Visa expiry date) and received EAD valid till the same date.
I am given to understand that I cannot file for my extension of L1 till 2012 as it can be filed when only 6 months are remaining for I-94 expiry. Is this true?
Assuming I cannot file for L1 extension till 2012, how do I get Visa and EAD for my wife extended?
I am thinking that I-94 for my wife can be extended based on my I-94 but can the I-94 extension be basis of extension of EAD?
