    Apply Change of Status L2S to L1B

    I'm currently on L2S visa and working in US with an Employer. Is it possible for my employer to apply for L1B ?
    can I go back to India only for stamping or should I have to leave the country to apply for L1B?
    Note : I have been working with this employer only in USA and not have previous experience with this employer outside US.
    Please advise
