  • L2 EAD Documents missing

    Hi All,

I applied for L2 EAD online on 22 Nov and I got a receipt from USCIS on 26th. I sent my passport first and last page copy and my I94 copy as documents to USCIS Vermont after i got the Receipt.

Later I got a letter from USCIS on 29th 2010 asking for photo and I sent the same. I have completed Biometrics on 17 dec 2010. I have not got any update after that till now.

Also from the forums i see that i should have sent the passport copies of the Myself and my spouse and a copy of marriage certificate as documents.

Can I send these documents now along with the copy of the receipt, to USICS?

I have been waiting for almost 2 months so getting a doubt will USCIS send a RFE for want of these documents.

I want to avoid delay so that I can start working as ASAP, seniors please advice and help , can I send these docs or have to wait for the RFE and doing this will expedite the process?

    Thanks in advance.

Those documents are not required unless USCIS asks for it. No need to send anything else.

      Thanks txh1b for your reply.

What are the options do I have now to know the correct status of application, can I take an INfopass appointment and find out or should I go the local Congressman and Senator?

      Thanks,
      Santosh

You are just not even midway through the suggested 90 days for EAD. You should just be patient. An infopass will not get you anything before the 90 days.

Congressman?? Senator?? Are you kidding man? It is hardly 45 days since you applied.

Why i am asking is because couple of my friends who applied to the same Center a month ago got their approval with in 10 days of biometric.

My main concern here that if I get an RFE for want of documents or any thing else then it would add up to further delay thats why.

            Thanks.

If you submit any document before an RFE, by the time it gets to your physical file, it will take 3 months.
