Can L2 visa holder apply independently?

I am currently working on an L2 visa, which I obtained as a dependent of my spouse, who is on an L1 visa. My spouse's employer has not yet initiated the process of applying for his Green Card. Given this situation, I would like to know if it is possible for me, as an L2 visa holder, to apply for a Green Card directly, independent of my spouse’s Green Card process. Yes. As long as a US employer offers to employ you after you immigrate, they can petition you for employment-based immigration. You don't even need to be in the US.
