    Transition from H1B to L2 process and timelines

    Hi,

    Is it feasible to transition from H1B to L2 status without departing US. My spouse has valid L1 stamped visa and I am on H1B. Also can I able to start working immediately using the L2 visa when my L2 is approved by USCIS or do I need to file an EAD request. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
