L1 Visa expired but I-94 not

Hi

I've L1B blanket till feb 2011 and also petition till feb 2011 , But my I-94 will expire on may 2012 , so Shall I stay and Work here on I-94 basis?

or need to go back and again put a new file ?

please advise me on this.

You can't work if your VISA is not under a renewal process

Is your L1 is under renewal process ? If not, you can only stay till your I-94 expiry date, but can not work in united states. But if you are in a process of renewing it and you have a receipt of it, you can continue to work until the final notice.

no . it's not under renewal.
But employer said that i can work and stay till I-94 for L1B -blankat visa.

there is no need to extension for petion or visa.

is it correct ?

any affected for next time travel when i'll come from India to USA ?
