Hi
I had my Visa interview with my spouse on 6th December. The interview went fine. After 7-8 minutes of interview, the consular officer said that there is no problem with the application. However since my passport front lamination was coming out, I need to get a new passport. He then gave me a yellow letter with new passport option ticked. I obtained new passport under tatkal and resubmitted in VFS on 29th Dec.
I got passport back on 5th with green letter asking for more documents viz. invitation letter, resume, etc. I submitted all documents on 6th Jan. Still waiting for response.
Is this a normal routine these days or there could be any appeal possible?
Thanks
