Hello,
I recently got married in India but had to come back to the states due to work problems. Did not get time to register my marriage officially. While coming back, I had signed the required forms and came back. The registrar office says that my being there for registering the marriage is an absolute must. I want to bring my wife back here. I have 2 questions:
1. Can there be some other way of getting the marriage certificate legally?
2. If not that, can L2 visa be processed without the marriage certificate. I read somewhere that you have to obtain a certificate saying for xyz reason, you didn't get the marriage registered.
Please help...
