  • L1 A Extension

    Hi,
I am in the US since Nov 2008 on L1 A visa. The visa expires on 25JUN2011 but my I-94 is valid till 01NOV2011. This is my first visit after the visa stamping. My company is planning to apply for extension of my visa in March 2011.My question is:
If the extension is not approved and if I get the USCIS decision before 01NOV2011 then can I still stay in the US legally and continue to work till my I-94 expires?

Second question: My I-94 is valid till 01NOV2011 but my wife & daughter's I-94 expires on 25JUN2011. Which date should be given importance while applying for extension? Considering the date difference, is it ok to apply for extension in March 2011?

    Please advise,
    Thanks...

      Thanks for the reply.

Another question: My company is planning to apply for extension of my L1 in March, that is seven months before expiry of my I-94. Is it ok to do that or it should be done in last six months of expiry of I-94.
