  • New L1 visa with old L1 still not expired

    Hi,

I'm planning to apply for L1 Individual now with my current employer (1 year). But I have L1-Blanket visa with my old employer which is valid till 2012. Will there be an issue with the new visa since the old one still not expired? Is there any procedure to close the old visa?

Also, L1 Blanket or Individual is better? As my current employer prefers individual than blanket because of the rejections. Also will there be a differnce in the wait/processing time between L1B and individual?

    Thanks,

    Aravindh

    1. There is no problem. You don't need to do anything with the old visa.

    2. It does not matter as long as everything else is in the right order.
