L2 Visa - spouse name in L1 primary applicant

I am going to take the L1B PAI late this month. I am planning to take L2 for my spouse and kid. The information i required is: My name is included in my wife passport. however, her name is not included in mine. Is it mandatory for me to include my wife name in my passport to get L2 for me wife? please let me know is there any new rule that is applicable?

That is not required.

Just need marriage certificate to prove who your wife is.
