i94 Extension and L2 Travel Plan

Hi All,

My L1B-Blanket Visa will expire on April, my company is planning to apply for my extension around that period. my plan is to send my wife and 3 month baby to india for visit after extension decision.
my query is

1. can I send my wife and baby back to india after i94 extension if granted ?

2. since she will be traveling alone on L2, and my baby is having US Passport and PIO Card will there be any problems for her during travel ??

Please suggest.

2. No problem. In order for your wife to return, she will need a valid visa stamp in her passport.

will there be any issues for getting L2 visa stamping First (of my wife) without my stamping first ( i will be still in US after extension).
