US born with Indian Passport

I am on L1 visa from India entered US in May 2010 and it valid till Apr 2012. In Jan 2011, we had a baby in US. We opted for Indian passport for the new born baby to seek Indian citizenship. I have the following questinos
1) If I had to visit India before Apr 2012, can I reenter US with new born baby? or to reenter US, do I need to apply for L2 visa for new born?
2) Can new born baby reenter US with a valid Visa any time in future , say after 5 yrs?
