Will NOC required for Govt. employee for L2 VISA

Need the help of this Forum!!

I am going to apply for L1A VISA and L2 VISA for my wife and kids. My wife is working in Govt. school as teacher. Does she required NOC even for apperaing in the VISA interview? Is that the requirement from US Consulate? I havn;t seen any document requiremnt on their offcial Web site

Hi,

It is surprising how you managed to get PP for your wife when she is working as Govt school teacher. As far as I know, it is required to get NOC even for applying for PP. There is no doubt that your wife needs NOC to go out of the country. My in-law went thru same situation. So it is advisable to review properly before proceeding further.
