Regading the validity of EAD on re entry to USA

Hi,

I am on a L2 visa and have an EAD which is valid till oct 2012.I have to go to india for a short trip(3 to 4 weeks) and then return to USA.Just want to check if my EAD will be valid when I re enter USA or should I apply for a new EAD. Plz share your information.

If your spouse is maintaining L1 status, new EAD is not required.
