Guidance on L2 EAD

Hi,
My spouse is working for an Indian MNC in the US on L1B. I am working in India for the same Indian MNC as my spouse. My L1B and H1B got rejected recently. So I would like to travel to US on L2 visa and work there with a EAD.
Can anyone please tell me:
1. if I need to resign my current position in my company before I go to US and work?
2. Or can I go on long leave to US and work there on EAD. If I go on long leave and apply for EAD will my employer come to know about it?
3. is there any chance I can work for the same Indian MNC in the US in L2? Will my employer let me work in US in L2?

No need to resign.

They will not knwo.

Yes, you can work for any employer. But only after EAD is approved.

Can i get a job as a software developer/programmer in L2 EAD in US in the current situation? how good is the IT market in US?

Also I read somewhere that the USCIS has removed a section in the EAD online application in their website in November 2010. Will it anyway affect future EAD applications?

Now, will it be possible to join us division of my company without resigning from indian division. How it will work legally. I am on leaves as of now. Or can i join any other india based mnc in us with this condition that i will join their india division on my return.

Did you received any answer. Do you know if we can do work from home for my current indian employer with india payroll after getting EAD
